From the 1th of December until the 3rd of January 2019, Mediateka Wrocław in Poland presents the exhibition “Running with Wolves” by Baltic illustrators. Works by 25 artists from Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia are displayed.
The exhibition was prepared for this year’s London Book Fair, where the three Baltic States were invited as guests of honour. Curator Viive Noor invited illustrators to create works with the motifs of a wolf and a werewolf. The concept of the exhibition was inspired by the European Year of Cultural Heritage and by traditional stories collected by Clarissa Pinkola Estés.
