Just like all people and animals, Kristel and her parents’ cat turns old and mangy over time. The cat is missing both ears, her hearing isn’t what it was in her younger days, and she has poor vision, too. But in spite of all this, she is a happy creature – she is cared for and looked after by her owners. One morning, the family finds their old mangy cat lying on the sofa. She has fallen asleep and won’t wake up again. The cat has left her old, mangy body behind, and has passed on to another world that has all the things cats love most.
