Biography
Priit Pärn (1946) is a world-famous animated filmmaker, caricaturist, and illustrator. He graduated from the University of Tartu in biology, after which he worked as an art and animated film director at the Tallinnfilm and Eesti Joonisfilm studios. Pärn has taught animation at the Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland, and currently teaches at the Estonian Academy of Arts. He has illustrated more than 20 children's books and has a long history of collaboration with the children's magazine Täheke.
