In a forest far, far away, life is anything but uneventful. The wolves are trying to figure out how Mother Hare’s carrots grow so long and plump. A hardworking snail named Sullivan longs to build a skyscraper. The squirrel parents are doing their best to raise their extreme-sports-obsessed son to be more to other forest-dwellers’ liking. Challenges galore are faced by urban animals, too, like the clever caterpillar, the sleep-deprived aquarium fish, and the checkers-loving cat Tiiu. And if need be, the animals can strike silly poses for humans’ cameras by wallowing in the mud or just lollygagging and skipping around!
---------
Despite the colourful selection of protagonists, the stories form a well-oiled ensemble of animals who teach us about empathy, tolerance and living in moment. They show that it’s so much easier to co-exist when everyone is friendly and attentive. And a bit of humour doesn’t harm either!
