The Countess’s Lost Ring

Saara, Mirdi, and Nelli often enjoy playing in an abandoned manor house. Once while spending time there, the girls meet a strangely-dressed old woman. It turns out that she is none other than the manor’s former occupant, Countess Eleonora von Mecklenburg, who cannot seem to find peace in the afterlife. Her fate hinges upon a lost ring that the girls immediately resolve to locate, no matter the cost. Although tracking it down puts their cooperation, mental fortitude, and physical endurance to the test, they can all assert in the end that it made for the most exciting August of their lives.
