Things continue after the events of A Quite Criminal Tale – village boy Jürnas manages to capture a UFO on film when taking pictures of people in his yard; the photographs have dark spots on them. The boys decide to write to Tõravere Observatory to get answers.

In the meantime, Peeter gets his friend Riho out of being grounded, and they disguise the boy’s head in gauze so he won’t be caught. The young, oddly disguised boy is regarded as an alien, however, and rumors about the landing of UFOs start spreading through the otherwise sleepy small town. The "beings'" activities around a local dairy farmer’s cow causes "radiation panic" in the village, and the hearsay is only given more momentum by Jürnas, who is wearing a beekeeper’s hat while running around his yard and tracking a beehive.

The situation is resolves just as humorously – a letter from Tõravere arrives, in which a scientist explains to the children that the dark spots on the photo are not UFOs, but rather sun spots that always appear when you take a picture against bright light.
